(1) A person who lost his life while risking his life or trying to save a person who was in danger of an accident or calamity during an internal disturbance or disturbance in Nepal, or a soldier or officer working in the Nepali Army and Police who showed extraordinary bravery to maintain peace at the risk of his own life. Any person can be awarded the bravery medal.
(2) The design, shape and plaque of the medal as per sub-rule (1) shall be as mentioned in Appendix Three Schedule-8.
